Cirencester Rotary Club has been working with Hope Cirencester, with the support of Cirencester College, to deliver literacy support to adults in the local community.
In their final meeting before Christmas, the Rotary Club celebrated the achievements learners have made during the Adult Literacy Project.
Andrew Tubb, CEO of Cirencester Town Council, presented each learner with a well-earned certificate.
Alan Rice-Smith, Cirencester Rotary Club member, said: "It has been really rewarding for all of our team working with mature adults who are committed to improving their literacy skills."
The Adult Literacy Project was initiated in 2021, when Rotary Club members attended a training session delivered by Cirencester College, on supporting adult literacy and breaking down barriers.
Since 2022, with the support of Hope Cirencester, volunteers from the Rotary Club have run weekly meetings with the aim of supporting adults in the community with limited reading skills.
