Car dealer seeking 400 new apprentices

Car dealership Arnold Clark has started its search for 400 new apprentices for 2023.

The group's apprenticeship programme offers anyone aged over 16 the opportunity to learn skills and gain a recognised qualification, as reported by AM Online.

Arnold Clark has over 200 car dealerships across England and Scotland, including one in Bristol and several in the West Midlands. It stocks over 25 different brands of car.

All apprentices will receive on the job training at an Arnold Clark site, and some will also attend week-long training blocks at one at the company's industry-accredited GTG training centres.

The apprenticeship vacancies are available in a wide range of locations. The company currently employs 711 apprentices, with 96 per cent going into a full-time post with the group.

Apprenticeships offered are in traditional motor trade roles, such as technicians, spray painters, body repairers and parts advisors, but there are also opportunities as an aftersales apprentice.
