Apprenticeships at Cheltenham Borough Council

Applications are open at Cheltenham Borough Council for apprenticeships in a range of areas.

Apprenticeships are available in:

• Building control

• PR and communications

• Licensing

• Finance

The building control post is a four year apprenticeship. Candidates should have GCSEs (five A-Cs or equivalent, including maths and English). A Level at grades BBC, NVQ3, or BTEC relevant professional qualification.

The PR and communications apprenticeship is an 18 month fixed term contract and an opportunity to complete the Level 4 public relations and communications assistant apprenticeship, delivered by Cirencester College.

The finance apprentice assistant will be working towards AAT Level 4 professional diploma in accounting.

The licensing apprenticeship is a two year apprenticeship and candidates should have five GCSEs at A-C or equivalent, including maths and English, and a good level of IT skills.

All of the apprenticeship roles have a starting salary of £15,000 and a closing date of 17th May.
