More staff, bigger office for Cheltenham holiday firm

A Cheltenham holiday rental agency is moving to an office three times bigger to accommodate the dramatic rise in staff it now needs.

Award-winning Bolthole Retreats, set up in Cheltenham in 2017, has seen such unprecedented success it has increased its staff by 60 per cent to handle the increase in business.

The new central Cheltenham office in Lypiatt Road is three times bigger than the current premises in St George's Road.

The business was formed with the sole aim of providing a distinctive service to both holiday homeowners and guests. The increase in staycation holidays has undoubtedly played a part in the firm's success.

Bolthole Retreats now exclusively manages over 150 properties in the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, and has been nominated for a number of awards - most recently winning the Prestige Regional Agency of the Year award in January 2022.

The Cotswolds is one of the top three UK destinations for holidaymakers. Bolthole Retreats has seen its portfolio grow by 50 per cent in the last year, fuelling a 120 per cent increase in bookings from guests coming to the area.

Martin McWilliam, founder of Bolthole Retreats, said: "Since its inception, Bolthole Retreats has provided market-leading service in the Cotswolds for both property owners and guests - but the last year has seen new levels of success."

Rebekah England, managing director of Bolthole Retreats, said: "The Cotswolds remains firmly at the top of tourists' dream destinations list. The office move is a key milestone in our journey as a business, with the spacious new environment allowing us even more room to expand over the next five years."
