Fashion retailer makes return to Gloucester Quays

FatFace is set to reopen at Gloucester Quays on Friday (May 20).

The 2,017 sq ft fashion store has been newly fitted out to appeal to shoppers from across Gloucestershire.

And the new store has created 12 full-time and part-time jobs, providing a welcome employment boost for people living in and around Gloucester.

Owen Acland, centre manager for Gloucester Quays Peel Land & Property Group, said: "Everyone at Gloucester Quays is excited to see the return of FatFace, but it's not just us - there are thousands of people who can't wait to visit the new outlet store.

"The reopening of FatFace at Gloucester Quays is more proof that the Quays' unique mix of outlet retailing, leisure and dining continues to be a successful and profitable formula."

Stephen Wild, executive director for Peel Land & Property Group, said: "By reopening a new store at the Quays, FatFace re-joins 50 top brands who offer stylish fashion and accessories, outdoor wear and homeware at up to 70 per cent off the RRP.

"The welcome return of FatFace confirms Gloucester Quays as the 'must visit' destination for savvy shoppers in the South West."

The clothing brand is returning after initially closing in October 2020, a victim of Covid lockdowns.
