Location details

Stonehouse is a small Severn Valley town with a population of approximately 7,725 (Census 2011), situated approximately 3 miles to the west of Stroud and 2 miles to the east of junction 13 of the M5 motorway. Nearby centres are Gloucester (approximately 10 miles to the north), and Bristol (approximately 23 miles to the south). There is a mainline railway station in the town centre, with journeys to London Paddington taking approximately 1¾ hours.

The site is situated in a mixed commercial/residential area at Reliance Works, off Downton Road, north of a private access road leading to the Upper Mills Industrial Estate. Downton Road leads to the A419 which in turn leads to Stroud to the East and Junction 13 of the M5 to the West.


Site area - 0.243 hectares (0.60 acres).


The property is not assessed for rating purposes.


Planning consent was obtained in 2016 for the erection of two detached industrial units. The site may suit a variety of uses subject to the necessary consent being obtained.
