Location details:

Lydney is located on the west bank of the River Severn in the Forest of Dean. The town centre provides a mixture of shopping and office accommodation together with residential units.

The site is located opposite Tesco. The area benefits from good access to the A48 trunk road, which bypasses the town centre, and connects to Gloucester to the north and the M5/M48 motorways to the south.

The recent removal of tolls on the Severn Bridge Crossing has reduced the cost of commuting to Bristol from this area.


The site was a former builders yard and there is a basic series of concrete block workshops and stores currently erected on the site, together with No. 33 High Street.
