Take a tranquil trip on a canal boat

Where: Various locations

When: Saturdays and Sundays from April 6

A new season of boat trips on Cotswold Canals Trust narrow boats get underway tomorrow (Saturday, April 6).

Endeavour starts at Saul Junction, and takes one of three routes along the Gloucester Sharpness Canal every Sunday from April 7, also on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. £2 pay and display parking charge.

Both boat trips run from 12 noon until 4pm. Cost £5 for adults; £3 for children under 16, and free for under 5s. Advance bookings aren't taken - just turn up and wait for the boat.
