National Learn to Play Day hits Gloucestershire

Where: Gloucester, Coleford and Stroud

When: Saturday, March 23

Gloucestershire Music (GM) has teamed up with the national organisation 'Music for All' (www.musicforall.org.uk ) to bring you the chance to play a musical instrument.

Music for All are hosting their national Learn to Play weekend with loads of events across the UK. GM are pleased to announce that they will be hosting three of these here in Gloucestershire.

You can attend one of three centres in Coleford, Gloucester or Stroud on the morning of Saturday, March 23.

The event invites children aged 7+, including adults, to learn various brass, string and woodwind instruments. You will also be able to find our more about or free FAME sessions, how to hire an instrument and their adult Learn As You Play programme.

Once you have registered for a place simply reserve the date in your diary and Gloucestershire Music will be in touch closer to the time with final details. There are only 100 places and they are going fast.

To register, visit www.gloucestershiremusic.co.uk  and click on F.A.M.E./BBC where there is a short survey to complete.
