High-octane satirical sideswipe at 80s nightlife

Where: Playhouse Theatre, Cheltenham

When: Wednesday, March 6, to Saturday, March 9

Did you survive the 80s? Love 80s music? Or too young to remember the 80s but curious as to what it was like?

The Playhouse Company are thrilled to announce their performance of the comedy double bill Bouncers and Shakers written by John Godber and Jane Thornton.

These riotously funny one-act plays present a satirical sideswipe at 1980s life seen through the eyes of four cocktail waitresses and four nightclub bouncers in the North of England.

Watch as each actor takes on a myriad of different roles to show the characters and personalities out for a good time in 80s nightlife, in these high tempo, high octane plays that will leave you laughing.

Bouncers and Shakers are on from Wednesday, March 6, to Saturday, March 9, at the Playhouse Theatre Cheltenham.

Visit www.cheltplayhouse.org.uk  for information on how to get tickets.

[Warning: Both plays contain strong language and adult themes throughout]
