The Barn Theatre in Cirencester has announced the cast and creative team for their upcoming new staging of Noël Coward's acclaimed comedy of manners Private Lives.

The show will run at the award-winning venue from 15th May - 24th June.

The new production, which will be directed by frequent Barn Theatre collaborator Bryan Hodgson, follows a divorced couple who, while honeymooning with their new spouses, discover they are staying in adjacent rooms at the same hotel with a shared terrace with the added complication that they still have feelings for each other.
Lucy Dixon, best known for playing the role of Danielle Harker in the BBC series Waterloo Road, will play the role of Amanda, and Poppy Gilbert, best known for playing Barbie in the Netflix series Stay Close, will make her stage debut in the role of Sibyl.
They will be joined by David Alwyn (Journey's End) as Victor, Emily Attridge-Cox (professional debut) as Louise and Ricky Oakley (Magic Goes Wrong) as Elyot.
Joining Hodgson on the creative team are Alfie Heywood as set and costume designer, Alex Musgrave as lighting designer and Sam Glossop as sound designer.
