Tribute to the sultriest songstress of all

Jazz vocalist Jo Harrop pays tribute to Peggy Lee, one of the great figures of jazz and American popular song, at Chapel Arts, Cheltenham, this Friday evening.
Peggy Lee had a career spanning six decades. Sinatra called her 'regal' while Duke Ellington called her 'the queen'.
She wrote and sang for Disney's Lady And The Tramp and had a string of hits stretching from her early days with Benny Goodman until the 1990s.
In this wonderful show as part of the Jazz at the Chapel series, Jo Harrop pays tribute to the sultriest songstress of all. She's set to deliver moving renditions of classics such as Fever, Why Don't You Do Right and The Folks Who Live On The Hill. Jo will be accompanied by her band.
Tickets are £12 in advance, £15 on the door (students with ID £5). Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.
