Top ten firework displays in Gloucestershire

Its the time of year again when we wrap up warm and venture out to soak up the magic of bonfire night and watch some incredible firework displays.

The team at Punchline have compiled a list of our top ten favourite displays going on around Gloucestershire over the next few weeks.

1# Churchdown Firework Extravaganza 

The annual Firework Display & Funfair will return on Friday 2nd November 2018 at Churchdown Park.

This year the aim is simply to put on another bright and entertaining firework display that surpasses last year. From Catherine Wheels to Rockets, Parton Road will be ablaze with colour for the night, illuminating the sky for miles around.

When: Friday 2 November

2# Dursley Fireworks 

Following two very successful years, Girlguiding Dursley District will be back hosting this event again in 2018. On Saturday 3rd November 2018, the skies above Dursley will once again be ignited with colour and sound as we present the 'Dursley Fireworks 2018'.

As well as the fireworks display, there will be live entertainment as well as a BBQ, a beer tent, a tuck shop, a hot drinks and cake stall and a glow stick stall.

3# Cheltenham Round Table Fireworks Extravaganza 

The Cheltenham Round Table Fireworks Display has now been running for over 30 years and is widely recognised as one of the largest and safest fireworks displays in the South West region, attracting some 10,000 people every year.

Join Cheltenham Round Table at Cheltenham Racecourse for a spectacular night of entertainment. The PJ Masks will be making special guest appearances at intervals throughout the night! There will also be fairground attractions, hot and cold food and drinks and of course lots and lots of fireworks!

4# Speech House bonfire and firework display 

The annual Lions Speech House Fireworks and F.E.R.N. Bonfire on the Speech House Field is organised and run by the Forest of Dean Lions Club and Severn Dean Lions Club to raise money for good causes in the local area.

Attractions include a large bonfire and firework display, Danter's famous Fun Fair as well as food and drink.

5# Tewkesbury Rotary Club Firework Display 

Tewkesbury's annual bonfire and fireworks display takes place this Saturday. The event is free; however, buckets collections are on the entrances to cover costs and support local charities. There is a variety of fairground rides and catering on site.

Where: The Vineyards Field, Tewkesbury

Tickets: Free admission

6# Cirencester Round Table Fireworks 

The annual Cirencester fireworks display is Cirencester Round Table's largest fundraising event. Each year the whole team is out in force, selling tickets on the high street, raising awareness and putting on Cirencester's largest annual firework display.

With several thousand people in attendance, fireworks and a host of other activities - it is a family night out not to be missed!

When: Saturday 3 November

7# Walls Social Club Family Firework Night 

Generation Events Gloucestershire have teamed up with Walls Club Barnwood and Chase Lane Fireworks for Bonfire night 2018.

They will be providing a spectacular display for the whole family.

8# Minchinhampton School Fireworks

Join in with the festivities in Minchinhampton, complete with a BBQ and mulled wine whilst warming around the bonfire and watching the fireworks fire off into the skies.

Celebrating their 150th anniversary, the event is held in support for Minchinhampton School.

9# Burley Fields Firework Display 

A large annual firework display is held at Burley Fields in Leckhampton, Cheltenham with lots of entertainment for the whole family.

As well as the fireworks, there is a disco, small fun fair, pig roast and refreshments including a licenced bar.

10# Quedgeley Fireworks Display 

The skies above Quedgeley will come alive this November with a large professional fireworks display, hosted by Quedgeley Town Council. Free parking is available in Severn Vale School.
