Top comedy improvisers give Sherlock and Potter the treatment

It might be nearly a year away but the Sundial Theatre in Cirencester is already looking forward to hosting two award-winning improvised comedy plays on the same night.

Spontaneous Sherlock and Spontaneous Potter, performed by the Spontaneous Players, featuring some of the UK's most critically-acclaimed comedy improvisers, are coming to the theatre on Saturday, March 12, 2022, and tickets are about to go on sale.

Spontaneous Sherlock, starting at 7pm, will be based on an audience suggestion of a title and have live Victorian musical accompaniment.

Previous titles performed include Sherlock Holmes and the Moriar-Tea Party, Sherlock Holmes and the Awkward Tinder Date and Sherlock Holmes and the Trip to IKEA Where People Have Died.

In a second show at 8:30pm, it's time to grab your wands, don your house robes, and apparate yourselves to the box office for Spontaneous Potter.

A very magical improv show awaits and hilarity is bound to ensue as an entirely new Potter adventure is magically improvised on the spot - with live musical accompaniment!

Previous titles performed include Harry Potter and the Chamber of Commerce, Harry Potter and the Rise of the Planet of the Snapes and Harry Potter and the Struggle for a Decent Mortgage in This Economy.

Tickets go on sale to Sundial Guestlist this evening (Wednesday, April 21) at 6pm and general sale starts Monday, April 26, at 6pm.

You can get 20% off tickets for the second Spontaneous Players show after the first booking!
