The Friary Guildford Band have been the London & Southern Counties Regional Champion for the past three years running and is now the undisputed top band in the South.

Seven years ago, Friary Guildford became the First Section National Champion, the first band from London & Southern Counties to have won this title, and earned promotion to the Championship (top) Section.

The Band has since qualified for the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain at the Royal Albert Hall in each of the past five years, one of only nine bands in the whole of the UK to have done so.

The band is performing at the Stroud Subscription Rooms on Sunday afternoon at 3pm.
