After a busy week of live music, Cheltenham races, Six Nations rugby and a Sussex Beer Showcase, The Thirsty Pine is staging its first paid entry event this Friday, March 21.
The popular venue in Brunswick Road, Gloucester, is welcoming Cheltenham-based acoustic trio Thrill Collins for a gig, with doors opening at 7.30pm.

Thrill Collins play skiffle, ska, lounge and jazz music and consist of Robbie Pert on guitar and vocals, Andrew Lansley on double bass/vocals and Peter Harper on cajon/vocals.
To date they have released three EPs recorded by producer George Shilling. The band are most noted for their application of the skiffle genre to modern music. Taking inspiration from the DIY ethics of the movement and artists such as Lonnie Donegan and The Quarrymen, the band have sought to replicate the style and humour that is closely associated with the genre.
Support is provided by How Dare She and early bird tickets are £10, advance tickets £12 and £15 on the door.

Before that, on Thursday evening, The Thirsty Pine is hosting a Westmalle Tasting on Thursday evening from 7.30pm. Tickets are £20.
