'The most quintessential of village fetes'

Where: By the River Eye, Upper Slaughter, Gloucestershire, GL54 2JB

When: Saturday, July 14, 12noon-2.30pm

This coming Saturday (July 14) between 12 and 2:30pm, "The Most Quintessential of Village Fetes" takes place.

Upper Slaughter's fete is situated along the banks of the River Eye and is free for all to enjoy.

With river races, a prize raffle, BBQ, Pimms and beer tent, live music, ice creams, children's games and bouncy castle.

There will be a bumper white elephant stall with many treasures on sale, books, plants and a produce stall, to name but a few.

The Village Hall will serve homemade cakes, teas and coffees. Free parking. There really is no nicer way to enjoy an afternoon for the whole family in one of the prettiest village settings.
