The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby
Jenny Wren Productions presents The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby featuring the reprehensible Uncle Ralph, on Friday, August 11 at Cerney House Gardens in North Cerney, Cirencester.

The performance begins at 7pm, the café is open from 5.30pm, along with the gardens for picnics.
As the performance is in the open-air, you are advised to bring a blanket or chair.
Left destitute on the death of their father, the Nickleby family is forced to give up a life of contentment in the countryside. The ensuing adventures take Nicholas all over, from Devon to Dotheboys Hall in Yorkshire, via a chance encounter with a troupe of strolling players. This is a tale of twists and turns, ups and downs, cruelty and hardship, but also friendship, kindness and love.
Will Uncle Ralph get his comeuppance? Will there be romance along the way? Will Smike remember all his lines?
