Visitors to Taurus Crafts Antiques & Vintage Fair on Sunday, September 23, can enjoy a nostalgic trip that will help them feel closer to their past.

They can reminisce as they browse amongst the 23 stalls offering a great selection of antiques, memorabilia, bric-a-brac and vintage items.

For those avid collectors who are looking for something in particular, there will be a selection of specialist sellers' trading at the event which include; vinyl records, glass paper weights, glassware, fossils and minerals, historical local book and prints and French vintage.

And not forgetting the onsite antiques expert Alan Brown who runs the Little Bazaar at Taurus Crafts.

Susan Rickards, an antiques fair regular, said: "I find myself drawn to objects that my grandmother used in her kitchen when I was young, and there is great craftsmanship in traditional Kitchenalia that you can't find nowadays."

Not to be missed at the fair is the new pop-up cinema showcasing old black-and-white films of comedic legends such as Buster Keaton, Laurel & Hardy and other black-and-white movie icons. This is great opportunity for anyone who hasn't seen these films in years to enjoy some popcorn and get nostalgic about the golden age of cinema.

Continuing the nostalgic feel to the fair, there will be musical performances of jazz by 'Forest Swing', lues by 'Four Plus One' and 'Blitz Time Sally' who sources inspiration from old black-and-white films, her grandmother and stories during the war times.

Tom Haverly, Taurs Crafts events and marketing manager, said: "This event is one of our busiest with over 2,000 visitors throughout the day. It's great for us as they get to not only see the stallholders at the fair but see all the shops, café, and makers studios onsite and find out all about Taurus Crafts."
