Swashbuckling tale set to cheer outdoor audience this summer

A classic open-air swashbuckling tale is being held at the "Cathedral of the Forest" to bring audiences some much-needed joy this summer.
This Is My Theatre is presenting Treasure Island will run at the newly-built All Saints Church in Newland, Gloucestershire, on Saturday, June 5, at 4pm.
The socially-distanced show will be lifted from the pages of Robert Louis Stevenson's much-loved novel and brought to life with sea shanties and sword fights galore!
Audience members are encouraged to bring chairs/blankets and picnics to enjoy whilst watching
Ice-creams will be available on arrival and the performance will be held within the church if the weather is wet.
Ethan Taylor of This Is My Theatre said: "We are very excited to be one of the first theatre companies dusting ourselves off and getting back on the road and we are sure that our fun-filled show, packed with action and live music, will bring some much needed joy this summer.
"The production will be all that This Is My Theatre audiences have come to love about our shows and we are excited to be re-engaging communities with the arts after these past few months of lockdown."
