Stunning tribute to the 'Prince of Soul'

Where: Cheltenham Town Hall

When: Saturday, February 15, 7.30pm

Let's get it on with a special evening of the 'Prince of Soul' with the velvet falsetto, Marvin Gaye.

Expect stunning soulful vocals from the charismatic Wayne Hernandez, incredible harmonies and infectious energy from the star-studded Don't Stop the Beat 10-piece band that are guaranteed to get the room moving.

Wayne Hernandez and live band take the audience on a journey of reminiscence, calling upon some of Marvin Gaye's most iconic hits including How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You), Ain't That Peculiar, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, What's Going On, Let's Get It On and many more in this celebration of the Prince of Soul.

Wayne has worked with the likes of Stormzy, Jay Z, Ed Sheeran, Quincy Jones, Rag & Bone Man, Tina Turner, Gorillaz, Tori Amos, Blur, Grover Washington, Roberta Flack and Madonna. He has also toured extensively with Kool and the Gang and Regina Bell and is also a well-established songwriter and producer.

You might recognise Wayne as part of the Kingdom Choir who sang at Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding in 2018 and his band have quite a repertoire too! Wayne is thrilled to be playing Cheltenham Town Hall for the first time.
