String quartet's comedy cabaret show bursts the boundaries

Sixteen strings, eight dancing feet and four voices with one aim - to make classical music wickedly funny and fantastically exhilarating.

Graffiti Classics bursts the boundaries of the traditional String Quartet with its hilarious all-singing, all-dancing musical comedy cabaret show.

Air in G and Maisemore Arts and Drama Society (MADS) present the show at Maisemore Village Hall on Friday, November 25th at 7.30pm.

A spokesperson for MADS said: "These acts are promoted through Air in G which is Arts in Gloucestershire and they tour round village halls. They are usually very good. They will probably be extremely talented and as well as playing the instruments they will combine it with a bit of comedy and dance.

"We've had different acts visit and they are subsidised to give them the opportunity to come to places like our village hall."

Tickets cost £12 and are available by email from info@madsplay.com or from Debbie on 01242 523730 or Sheila on 07763 973363.
