This Is My Theatre is bringing Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale The Snow Queen to a Gloucestershire village church this Christmas.
The reduced-capacity show will run at All Saints' Church, Newland, in the Forest of Dean on Friday, December 17, at 7pm
When her friend is stolen by the cold-hearted Snow Queen, Gerda must find the strength and courage to travel across the lands to save him. An array of characters along the way will guide and aid her journey but can Gerda bring the warmth of summer back to her friend?
Ethan Taylor, associate artistic director, said: "We are very excited to be back on the road this winter and we are sure that our fun-filled show (packed with action, puppetry, live music and song) will bring some much needed joy this Christmas.
"The production will be all that This Is My Theatre audiences have come to love about our shows and we are very excited to be re-engaging communities with the arts after the past year!"
Running time is 1 hour 15 minutes. Doors open at 6.30pm with live music, mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies available.
Tickets are on sale now. General admission is £15, Under 16s £7.50 from www.thisismytheatre.com/snow-queen-newland
