Raw talent on show at New Brewery Arts

New Brewery Arts in Cirencester is celebrating what's been made there with a show for the whole community.

Raw Talent 2022, which runs from Saturday, July 2, to Sunday, July 31, features some of the work created in more than 25,000 hours of creativity on its courses and workshops each year.

New Brewery Arts aims to connect people with the hand-made, promote the joy and fulfilment of making and celebrate the role of craft and creativity in all our lives.

This latest exhibition certainly epitomises this, by offering the community an opportunity to both see and purchase creations from a variety of courses and workshops.

The exhibition will showcase creations from tutors and students alike; across adult and under 18 categories. With over 80 submissions, works include: ceramics, stained glass, stone carving, wood carving, prints, paintings and drawings.

Beth Alden, New Brewery Arts' CEO, said: "So much creativity takes place in the studios here at New Brewery Arts - and not in the professional studios but in the workshops, courses and classes that take place here every day.

"Raw Talent is a fun moment to see what goes on in these classes. I'm forever amazed by the skill, creativity and joy that our classes bring out in everyone, and Raw Talent is the moment we all get to see this."

This free exhibition is kindly supported by Gloucestershire County Council through their Build Back Better Market Town Scheme, and Cirencester Town Council.
