Rare chance to see The Three Degrees

Where: The Bacon Theatre, Dean Close School, Cheltenham, GL51 6EP

When: Sunday, September 23, 7.30pm

The Three Degrees Live offers a breathtaking show full of dazzling gowns, outstanding vocals, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the legends of the industry in action, at the Bacon Theatre in Cheltenham.

The Three Degrees are an American female vocal group, formed in 1963 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group has remained a trio with two original members - Helen Scott and Valerie Holiday - since Sheila Ferguson left many moons ago. She has been replaced by Freddie Pool.

A firm favourite with Prince Charles, The Three Degrees sang at his 30th birthday party and were guests at his wedding to Princess Diana.

The Three Degrees are well known for their soulful voices, beautiful gowns, fabulous stage shows and are known all around the world for songs like When Will I See You Again, Dirty Ol' Man and Take Good Care Of Yourself.

Bacon Theatre manager Debbie Godber said "This is a rare opportunity to see an original artist in action. I am delighted that we are welcoming The Three Degrees to the theatre and cannot wait to see such a well-known name perform on our stage."

Tickets to hear this fantastic act live cost just £25, and are available at www.bacontheatre.co.uk  or by calling the Bacon Theatre on 01242 258002.
