Rapunzel lets her hair down this summer

Escape into the open-air this summer with Rapunzel - an exhilarating, heart-warming production about one girl's longing to break free from her imposed lockdown and explore the world outside.

IKP Productions' show is touring round the country, stopping off at a number of Gloucestershire venues on the way.

With wicked witches, lovable trolls, a fairytale Prince and miles of golden hair, Rapunzel is the perfect breath of fresh air for all ages.

IKP's trademark "delightfully daft" (The Stage) adaptation of Rapunzel brings the classic fairytale to life, with bundles of slapstick physical humour, puppetry and plenty to keep the adults entertained too!

Following the success of Beauty and the Beast and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, IKP proudly present another fantastic show for the whole family.

With a growing following across the UK and internationally, IKP take old stories and breathe new life into them, to bring pop-up theatre experiences to a venue near you.

IKP aim to create unforgettable experiences in exceptional settings, keeping ticket prices as low as possible, to ensure that families can experience live theatre in accessible, local settings.

For the first time in two years, we can adventure into the open air properly this summer, so join Rapunzel as she escapes her own lockdown and discovers the world outside!

Show dates include:

Saturday, 16 July: Prestbury Scout Hut, Cheltenham

Sunday, 17 July: Winterbourne Medieval Barn, Bristol

Sunday 7 August: Museum in the Park, Stroud

Wednesday 10 August: Dunkertons Cider Shop, Cheltenham

Wednesday 24 August: Cowley Manor, Cheltenham

Sunday 28 August: Prestbury Scout Hut, Cheltenham

Monday 29 August: Painswick Rococo Garden

Tickets for most venues are on sale through the Everyman Theatre box office on 01242 572573 or online https://www.everymantheatre.org.uk/shows/rapunzel/
