Music fans are in for another treat with a piano jazz cabaret in the glorious setting of St Edward's Church, Stow-on-the-Wold.
Following on from presenting Brubecks Play Brubeck and The Blues Band veterans Paul Jones and Dave Kelly, Music at Stow is proud to present Michael Omer returning by popular demand for his second show in Stow.
Along for the ride will be versatile West End drummer and percussionist Lyn Edwards and some surprise guests.
Michael Omer's piano jazz-cabaret show has been seen off-Broadway in New York at Don't Tell Mama, at Manhattan's stylish Metropolitan Room, and on the US West Coast, as well as at London's Pizza on the Park and The Pheasantry.
It promises to be edgy, funny, serious, and wonderfully entertaining! He has original songs, new jazz gems, a sprinkling of standards, and selections from his improvised album Unwritten, Unplugged and Unsigned.
This show even concludes with a high-wire, high-octane improvised "Instant Musical", with audience participation.
Michael has also contributed numerous scores for television and film, which have been heard extensively worldwide: notably the EMMY Award winning Little Lord Fauntleroy (BBCTV) written and produced by Oscar winner Julian Fellowes, and It's Good to Talk for producer Barney Reisz, which received an Academy Award nomination.
