'One of the greatest American plays of all time'

Where: Sundial Theatre, Cirencester

When: Wednesday and Thursday, November 7-8, 7.30pm

Arthur Miller's The Crucible has been described as a classic of the modern stage and one of the greatest American plays of all time.

Based on the real-life Salem witch trials of 1692, this gripping play explores how petty jealousies, dark desires and hidden agendas came together to cause disruption and chaos amongst the early colonists of the Massachusetts Bay.

The Crucible, with its compelling indictment of bigotry, repression and religious fundamentalism has lost none of its relevance in the 21st century.

The Rococo Players present the play tonight (Wednesday) and Thursday at the Sundial Theatre in Cirencester at 7.30pm.
