Northern Soul fans across Gloucestershire are in for an Easter treat this weekend.
The Thirsty Pine Beer Café in Brunswick Road, Gloucester is hosting its first Northern Soul disco on Saturday, April 19, from 8pm.

Music is being provided by Funked up and Feelin Good.
Andy Holian, owner of The Thirsty Pine, said: "We're really excited about it. As a born-and-bred Wiganer, there was no bigger venue than Wigan Casino and the Wiganer wants to bring the vibe to Gloucester!"
Meanwhile, the Gloucestershire Brewery Challenge continues at The Thirsty Pine.
Stroud Brewery won the first tie against Tiley's and The Fresh Standard are currently battling it out with Clavell & Hind to see which brewery's barrel will be consumed first.

Next up is Uley Brewery against Tangent Brewing Co. and on Saturday it's the turn of Corinium Ales, Cirencester, to compete against Tewkesbury Brewing Company.
