Nine days of creativity at Taurus Crafts

When: Saturday, May 25, until Sunday, June 2, open 10am to 5pm daily.

Where: Near Lydney on the A48.

Taurus Crafts, based near Lydney, are putting on an exciting 9-day programme bursting with creativity for families to enjoy this half-term holiday.

With many families looking for something to do during the school holidays, this provides an excellent choice of creative drop-in workshops; slime making, creature your own dragon or fairy wings, reptile handling, chocolate painting, magic show, crown & wand making, fossil hunting, puppet show, rock painting with FodRocks Make & Take, face painting, rain-stick making and paint your own pot.

Families can get creative and 'make together' with all the materials, tools and experts on hand to take the stress out of keeping the kids busy.

The sessions are all published on Taurus Crafts' website so you can plan your visit in advance. With two of the centre's activities being offered for free, there is something to suit families on a budget too.

Taurus Crafts is located near Lydney on the A48 and has a free, large accessible car park.

It's a home to local crafts, café, gifts, events, markets and art exhibitions and provides visitors a chance to meet the makers in their craft units and shop for distinctive gifts from the artisan businesses on site.

Taurus Crafts is part of the Camphill Village Trust, which is a national charity and not-for-profit organisation Camphill Village Trust brings over 55 years of experience, knowledge and passion to supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs.
