New menu unveiled at The Tavern in Cheltenham

Where: The Tavern, Royal Well Place, Cheltenham

When: From September 8, 2017

A new menu has been unveiled at The Tavern in Cheltenham which is shaking things up in the kitchen as the seasons start to change.

The restaurant, in Royal Well Place, has announced it is bringing its much-loved 'secret' under-counter menu, over the counter for everyone to enjoy.

Ronnie Bonetti, previously of Soho House Group, and Head Chef James de Jong's new menu is relaxed and comforting, made of delicious taverna style food from Europe and far beyond.

Expect Tavern classics and chargrilled steaks mixed with new flavoursome combinations such as Spicy Pork and Fennel Meatballs, Salt 'n' Pepper Squid with Noc Cham, Hereford Beef Short Rib, White Bean, Girolles and Salsa Verde and Whole Brown Crab and Mayonnaise.

The Queen of Banana Splits has also earnt her place on the pudding list.

All the new dishes will be served alongside a selection of craft beers and cocktails and a list of wines from around the world. The Tavern's talented bartenders create fine cocktails, mixing the perfect ingredients to emulate an old favourite or a new creation.

Diners can enjoy the new menu from September 8 while sipping on sinful house cocktails like The Kentucky Bracer, The Leifer Cocktail, Pineapple Bay and mocktail Mint Presse.
