New adaptation of Dracula in time for Halloween

As the cool autumn nights draw in, Downpour Theatre Company will be treating you to a little Gothic horror, with a brand new adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

The production takes place at the Sundial Theatre, Cirencester, on Friday, October 29, at 7.30pm.

This faithful retelling of the classic 1897 horror novel begins with the arrival of naive lawyer, Jonathan Harker, at Dracula's Transylvania castle, where he encounters horrors beyond his imagination.

Having escaped Dracula's grip, Harker must join with a group led by Professor Van Helsing, in a desperate bid to save their loved ones, and prevent Dracula forming a new base in England.

This is a superb study of the battle between light and dark.

The show is for over 12s only and doors open at 6.45pm.

Tickets are £12.50 to £15 (booking fee applies) and are available at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/sundial/t-qnvrqk
