By David Wood

The Museum of Gloucester will re-open tomorrow (Tuesday, May 18) at 10am.
The museum will be running at a reduced capacity until government guidelines state otherwise. Booking is not essential, but the museum is encouraging pre-bookings to avoid disappointment.
The Tourist Information Centre (TIC), museum shop and café (take-away only) re-opened on Tuesday, April 13.
The museum will be a Covid-secure venue and its website says: "Our service has been meticulously risk assessed for our staff and customers and we have put several measures in place to ensure we can keep everyone safe and well as we follow and adhere to government legislation.
It is mandatory for all visitors (unless exempt) to wear face masks in the Museum and Tourist Information Centre for the duration of your visit. The only time visitors are permitted to remove masks is if they are seated in the café. All staff will be wearing face masks or visors when visitors are present.
The Museum & Tourist Information Centre are part of the national test & trace operation with NHS covid-19 app QR codes to enable customers to check into the venue.
