Monthly community sing-a-long for the elderly launched

Where: Stratton Court, Cirencester

When: Second Wednesday of every month

Aura Care Living's luxury retirement village and care home, Stratton Court in Cirencester, has just launched a brand new monthly community event, to combat loneliness for the elderly and use the proven healing and uplifting power of music as therapy.

The first event, held in October, was a great success, with not only residents from the home joining but members of the local community.

The sing-a-long, held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 2pm to 3.30pm, is free and offers tea, coffee and delicious cake as well as a delightful mixture of folk, popular and gospel music, and songs from the shows.

Everyone is welcome to join in with this fabulous new group, which is just one of many regular community events being held at Stratton Court.

Aura Care Living places huge emphasis on integrating with the local communities for the benefit of both their residents and to help include other elderly people living alone, to combat loneliness.
