Where: Cambray Baptist Church, Cambray Place, Cheltenham
When: Saturday, December 14, 10.30am to 3pm
This coming Saturday sees the first Christmas Market organised by Cambray Baptist Church, which is set to be an exciting event with over 30 stalls selling various wares.
The market will spill out along Cambray Place, between the church and the High Street in Cheltenham.
Highlights of the day include, a variety of food and festive gifts, local produce, children's crafts and face painting; not forgetting a special visit from Santa himself. If that wasn't enough, then there is also a refreshments area serving delicious seasonal treats and Christmas carols will be completing the festive feel, throughout the market.
There are plenty of activities to keep children and adults alike engaged with an activity tent set to appeal to even the most competitive market goers.
A spokeswoman said: "As a central point in the community, Cambray Baptist Church are opening their doors once again and would love to encourage as people to come visit the area.
"We are organising this Christmas Market as part of a festive programme of events for the community to draw in both residents, small traders and businesses to experience this event together.
"Cambray has hosted successful Christmas markets inside its building in previous years. However, this year is a much bigger event, which in turn means a lot more planning and organising is going on behind the scenes to create a memorable Christmas experience."
This event has been set up as a non-profit-making event and is primarily for the community and small local traders and businesses.
