Learn more about wine and spirits from the experts

Where: Cheltenham College

When: Saturday, November 2

On Saturday, November 2, Cheltenham College will be the location of the first Taste Wine & Spirit Festival.

The festival will showcase some of the best local and national drinks producers, and give attendees the chance to learn more about wine and spirits from the experts.

At the Taste Wine & Spirit Festival, ITV's Saturday Kitchen wine expert Joe Wadsack will be hosting two wine masterclasses on the day, where you can taste and learn about some of Joe's favourite wines.

There will also be a wide variety of free tutored tastings, providing the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of everything, from wine to craft ale and spirts to cider. These will be hosted by a range of local and national producers, writers and educators.

Not only does the festival provide an opportunity to take part in tasting, there will be exclusive discounts across a range of bottles. This makes it the perfect place to kick start your early Christmas shopping, with a free wine bag provided to help carry your goods home.

There will also be a selection of some of the best artisan food producers, complementing the drinks perfectly.

There will be two sessions across the day. Tickets are valid for one session only. The sessions are:

  • Saturday, November 2: 11am-3pm
  • Saturday, November 2: 4pm-8pm

*Please note that talks are accompanied by tastings, are limited to 35 people per session and the Masterclass are limited to 80 people per session. You will need to get there early to secure a seat at these popular sessions.

Tickets cost £12 in advance which includes entry to the festival, unlimited tasting samples from more than 300 wines, a free wine tote bag for you to take away plus access to exclusive discounts from participating suppliers. Masterclasses will be charged separately.
