Jazz guitarist special guest at SVA monthly session

Where: Stroud Valleys Artspace (SVA), 4 John Street, Stroud, GL5 2HA

When: Thursday, January 10, 8pm

A prolific jazz guitarist will be the special guest at the monthly jazz session at Stroud Valleys Artspace (SVA) on Thursday evening.

Tristan Watson is a graduate of Leeds College of Music, often found playing with jazz musicians in various line-ups including duos, trios and quartets in and around Stroud, Cheltenham, Bath and Bristol.

Stroud and its surroundings have a great range of jazz players. This night is for their coming together.

Set in the comfortable, subdued lounge setting, each will feature a performance by the house band and guest, an interval with eclectic jazz records to mull over, and a stonkingly energetic jazz jam for all players and singers and aficionados participate in.

All are welcome, to listen or perform. The cost is £5 on the door or £3 for musicians

The jazz sessions take place at SVA on the second Thursday of every month.
