In Pictures: George Ezra at Westonbirt Arboretum

British-born, international break-through artist George Ezra appeared on Sunday (17 June) at the finale of Westonbirt Arboretum's 2018 Forest Live concerts.

The annual event also saw Dublin's finest, The Script , Paul Heaton and Jacqueline Abbott as well as Paloma Faith take to the stage on the evenings before.

With the night being sold-out earlier this year, fans looked forward to seeing him perform a set of songs from his latest album, 'Staying at Tamara's' and other greatest hits as he hit the stage at Westonbirt.

Dan Caplen, better known under his stage name D/C, opened the show to a rather damp audience providing hits including 'Two Fingers' and 'Badman', written in his early youth whilst living in Brixton, London.

Dan finished his set in high-spirits with Rudimental's third UK number-one single 'These Days' that he, himself had featured in, which saw thousands singing along.

Just as the drizzle passed, George arrived on stage. He began with 'Cassy O', the crowd-pleasing and memorable third single of his debut studio album 'Wanted on Voyage'. Later in the set, the crowd rejoiced to the sounds of more recent singles 'Paradise' and 'Shotgun' released earlier this year.

With his unique, soulful and captivating voice, George introduced many songs with a touch of background and humour surrounding when they were written. The crowd giggled along when he dedicated 'Blame It on Me' to all dads on Father's Day.

George closed the relaxed evening in the idyllic setting with his hit single Budapest, which reached the top 10 in several countries around the world back in 2014.

Forest Live is a major live music series, managed by the Forestry Commission. Held in seven beautiful forest locations across the country, over 1.5 million people have attended a gig in the programme's 17-year history.

Income generated from ticket sales helps to look after the nation's forests sustainably, for people to enjoy and wildlife to thrive.
