Idyllic Cotswold village opens its gardens

Where: Stanton, near Broadway WR12 7NE

When: Sunday, June 16, 2pm to 6pm

If you are looking to while away a few hours admiring some gardens in a gorgeous Gloucestershire village then look no further than Stanton Village Gardens.

A large selection of gardens will open their gates in this picturesque, unspoilt Cotswold village on the afternoon of Sunday, June 16.

Many houses border the street with long gardens hidden behind. Gardens vary, with colourful herbaceous borders, established trees, shrubs and vegetable gardens to tiny cottage gardens.

Some also have attractive, natural water features fed by the stream which runs through the village.

There will be plants and books for sale and some of the legendary home-made teas in various locations. Free parking is available.

This is a National Garden Scheme visit not to be missed.
