Hop along to 'chick' out Easter fun day
By David Wood
Families in Gloucestershire can be like the Easter bunny and hoppity hop into the Easter holidays by enjoying a free Easter Food, Drink and Craft Market at a much loved Gloucestershire pub.
The 'eggcellent' fun takes place at The Plough in Prestbury, Cheltenham between 11am and 3pm on Saturday 16th April, with a selection of market stalls from local small businesses to browse. The event will support local families needing the care of Sue Ryder.

For the young at heart, a face painter will be offering free face painting and there will be a fun Easter trail and hook-a-duck, alongside a special appearance by a popular fairytale Princess with story time.
To help raise as much vital funds for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice as possible, volunteers will also be on hand throughout the day offering fun children's games and a charity tombola.
For those needing refreshment, The Plough will have the bar open throughout with the kitchen open for lunch too.
Entry to the event is completely free and is being organised by Create Cheltenham to bring together all kinds of creatives and small businesses, giving small Gloucestershire businesses the opportunity and support to flourish.
Alysia Cameron Price, community fundraising manager at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, hopes lots of people will come along to support their local hospice and local businesses too.
"Not only does this fun-packed Easter day out offer the opportunity to enjoy a great time with family and friends but by 'hopping along' you will also be supporting small local businesses whilst raising vital funds so Sue Ryder can be there when it matters for local families.
"Huge thanks to our friends at The Plough and Create Cheltenham for putting on such a fab fun day out for everyone this Easter."
Emma Gibbon, manager at The Plough, Prestbury, said: "We're really excited to be holding this fantastic event at The Plough, along with lots of fun activities for the children and we're looking forward to welcoming lots of families through our doors."
Claire Webster, director of Create Cheltenham, added: "We are really excited to be back at The Plough organising another fab family event. There will be something for everyone at the fun day and plenty for children to do. We are delighted to invite Sue Ryder back to the event and hope to help raise much-needed funds."
