Get set for a happy Thursday with Shaun Ryder

On Thursday, January 25, you are invited to a night in with Happy Mondays legend Shaun Ryder to hear him talk about his years in the spotlight.
The live interview and audience Q & A is part of a further extension of his An Audience with... tour where the infamous music legend lifts the lid on all things Shaun Ryder.
Shaun Ryder is from Salford, Greater Manchester, where in 1980 he formed Happy Mondays. After signing to Factory Records and releasing music including their two classic albums Bummed (1988) and Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches (1990) Shaun went on to form Black Grape.
Black Grape went on to release their album It's Great When You're Straight... Yeah and due to the success with both bands Shaun received the 'Godlike Genius Award' from NME. Throughout his music career, Shaun has collaborated with a number of artists including; Intastella (1993), Jerry Harrison, Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz.
He also collaborated with the Gorillaz on the song DARE, from the album Demon Days. In 2005 Shaun also appeared in Peter Kay's charity music video for Is This the Way to Amarillo?
In 2010 Shaun took part in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here where he was runner-up and then in 2013 went on to host his own show Shaun Ryder on UFOs on the History Channel .
Shaun has appeared on several TV shows as a guest including Room 101, The Chase: Celebrity Special and Big Star's Little Star.
In 2011 Shaun released his autobiography Twisting My Melon.
