Get involved in Glevum Green Christmas craft and bake off event

Local house builder Redrow South West is organising a festive baking and eco wreath-making workshop at Gloucester's Glevum Green development, featuring Great British Bake Off stars and a professional floristry tutor.

The sessions will be hosted by the stars from the Great British Bake-Off, Louise Williams and Val Stones, and owner of Amaranto Flower Design, Nadia Addonizio.

The event will take place from 12pm to 4pm tomorrow (Saturday, 11 December) in two adjacent Redrow show homes on the development.

Louise and Val, whose expert skills in the kitchen were displayed in the Great British Bake Off 2016, will be whipping up a variety of sweet & savoury festive treats for visitors to enjoy. This is a great chance for guests to ask their burning baking questions.

Nadia is known for her beautiful, eco-friendly Christmas wreaths. Her designs can be deconstructed to be composted, or preserved and refreshed each year and are sustainable and environmentally friendly and not harmful to the environment. Together with Nadia, visitors will be able to create their own magical creations for the Christmas season.

Libby Bolton, sales manager at Redrow South West, said: "Our team here at Redrow love Christmas and we are very excited to invite visitors to our Glevum Green development for this event - everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the festive activities.

"Christmas is all about bringing people together and so we wanted to create something special that the local community will remember."

The event will take place on the attractive Glevum Green development right in the heart of historic Gloucester. It is within easy reach of the ancient Cathedral and famous docks, the superb shopping centre and excellent schools.

The development offers a choice of three and four-bedroom family homes in Gloucester from Redrow's Heritage Collection. Just like the city itself, these homes combine the finest of traditional architecture with the very best of modern living.

Redrow is inviting those interested in upping their seasonal craft game with beautiful and tasty items to take away and enjoy, contact the sales team on 01452 401837 to register their interest in attending this creative Christmas event.
