Fun and games at Silly Science workshops

Where: SVA, 4 John Street, Stroud GL5 2HA

When: Tuesday, April 16, from 1pm

There's a great opportunity to let your children have some Easter holiday fun and learn about science at the same time at a Silly Science workshop.

Silly Science workshops deliver hands-on, multi-sensory workshops that awaken children's interest in science by amazing them with cool demos and interesting experiments.

The workshops try to encourage children to think scientifically, to explore and not be afraid to make mistakes.

Two Silly Science workshops are being held at SVA in Stroud next Tuesday afternoon (April 16).

The first is an Easter and science themed art and badge making workshop followed by some sweet science where children explore the colours and science of fizzing sweets and children get to make their own tub of sherbert to take home.

The second is an Egg-static Easter workshop where Silly Science demonstrate some amazing egg-speriments and children get to go egg-sperimental with levers and egg throwing games as well as playing with static energy and balloons.

These hands-on science workshops are for children aged 4-12yrs. Workshops are drop-off and booking is essential through the Silly Science Workshops website. If you book your kids into both workshops, they can enjoy slime play activities in between.

Silly Science promotes learning through play and exploration, inspiring children to have fun discovering how our wacky world works!

Visit the Silly Science Workshops website for more details.
