Fancy a quick dip on Christmas morning?

Where: Sandford Parks Lido
When: Tuesday, December 25, 11am
Brave souls can head to Sandford Parks Lido in Cheltenham for its traditional Christmas Day Swim.
What was started by a few American soldiers who were stationed here in World War Two is now a huge annual event.
Swimmers can enjoy a quick dip in the main pool before heading home to warm up and have your Christmas dinner.
Organisers request that all swimmers arrive at the Lido by 10.30am. The swim will start at 11am and the site closes at 11.30am.
Registration can be done in advance via the Sandford Parks Lido website, or you can register on the day, but a waiver must be signed before entering the pool.
The event is free but the Lido welcomes donations. It is a not-for-profit charitable trust and every penny taken is invested back into the facility.
This event is suitable for over-18s only. Children are welcome on site to watch but must not enter the water. Please note, the water will be very cold!
