Experiments with dyes! Half-term family workshops
By David Wood | 21st October 2021
Fabulous hands-on workshops are being held at Stroud's Museum in the Park with Stroudwater Textile Trust.
The workshops will use ingredients from the kitchen cupboard and discover the colours you can make with them. Sometimes there will be surprises!
You will also be able to look at eco printing and natural dyes created by Ruth Illingworth whose exhibition will be an inspiring backdrop for these sessions.
These workshops last around one hour and are great fun for curious children aged 8+ and their parents or grandparents.
Please wear old clothes or bring an old apron and book ahead to ensure you have a place.
There are 12 places per session on Tuesday, October 26, and Wednesday, October 27, at 10am, 11.30am & 2pm (£2 per person per session)
.Book your places via the Ticket Source page here or call the Museum on 01453 763394.
Grown-ups who prefer not to take part can always look around the Museum, or visit the 'Colour Conversations' exhibition in the Art Gallery while their children enjoy the session.
