Escape the cabin fever and head to the woods

Where: Wardens' Wood, Cleeve Common, GL54 5TL

When: Friday, August 9, 2pm-4pm

Wellies on, now's the chance to explore Warden's Wood, an often forgotten about part of Cleeve Common.

Tomorrow (August 9) is Family Fun Friday at Cleeve Common with a Wardens' Wood Bushcraft event.

Join Cleeve Common Trust for an afternoon of bushcraft and nature exploration. See if you can survive in the wilds with your family by identifying trees from their leaves, building a den and toasting marshmallows on a campfire.

All equipment will be provided. We will stay together as a group throughout, so please arrive for a prompt 2pm start.

Feel free to bring a picnic or refreshments to enjoy around the campfire too.

Please book using the Eventbrite link on the Cleeve Common Facebook page as numbers are limited. Please book a ticket for every member of your group at £2.50 per person.

The event is suitable for children aged five years and over. Younger siblings are welcome free of charge, but please note the activities are aimed at primary school aged children with the help of their parents or guardians.

Cleeve Common Trust is a registered charity and receives no government funding at all.
