Where: Brockworth Road, Gloucester GL3 4RA

When: Friday, August 23, to Sunday, August 25

British rapper Dizzee Rascal is to headline Witcombe Cider Festival in August in what organisers predict will be a 'bonkers' evening.

The grime music pioneer, who has scored a series of number one hits, including Bonkers, will headline the August Bank Holiday festival on the Sunday night.

Other new acts announced include Shy FX, DJ Yoda, Preditah and the return of The Stickmen, who performed at the festival last year.

Acts already announced include Plan B, the Saturday headliner, and Friday headliner Faithless DJ set.

Other support acts set to peform include David Rodigan, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Duke, General Levy, Lisa Maffia, Max George, Phats & Small, Sub Focus and Yungen.

Festival founder Joe Pointon said: "We're massively excited to bring Dizzee Rascal to Gloucester. We know that Sunday night at Witcombe is going to be bonkers!"

The festival will feature live music over four stages, amazing bars, festival street food village and a family zone and circus skills, keeping the under 12s busy.
