Dinosaurs thrill young visitors in Gloucester
11th August 2017
Where: Museum of Gloucester, Brunswick Road
When: Sundays, August 13, 20 and 27, 2017
A roarsome Dinosaurs exhibition in Gloucester featuring life-size models is toning down the volume on Sunday mornings so little ones can enjoy the experience too.
Throughout August, from 11am until 1pm, the Museum of Gloucester is turning the light effects down, quietening the Jurassic roars and making the cretaceous era that little bit calmer.
Life Museum Curator Sarah Orton says: "We want everyone to be able to enjoy and access this wonderful exhibition.
"And some very young children have been finding it overwhelming. By offering a more relaxed time to visit, we hope that even more of the people of Gloucester and beyond can come and enjoy the Dino fun, without having to worry about the potential impact of the various sensory elements of the exhibition."
Dinosaurs is running at the Museum of Gloucester, in Brunswick Road, until October 28. It is open from 10am until 5pm Monday to Saturday throughout the Summer Holidays (except Bank Holiday Monday) and 11am until 4pm on Sundays until September 10.
Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for children aged five to 17. Under-3s go free.
