Creative and fun afternoon in Stroud
By David Wood
The Museum in the Park in Stroud is holding an afternoon of creativity and fun on Sunday, 15 October.
Be inspired by the majestic trees of Stratford Park, meet talented local artists, enjoy drawing, mark making and tea and cake from 2pm - 4pm.

Branch Line - taking a creative look at trees - is a free 'everybody draw' community event with Prema.
If you've yet to discover Prema (Uley), you're in for a treat, as they are bringing their special brand of hands-on creative magic to Stratford Park.
Prema's Everybody Draw events are all about people coming together to explore, discover and have heaps of fun, regardless of age or level of experience with drawing.
A spokeswoman for the Museum in the Park said: "The focus is all about having fun and trying out a variety of drawing and making techniques and styles with no fixed expectations about how things "ought to look".
"Come along and join a team of talented, warm and generous artists who know how to help everyone get the very best from mark-making and taking a line for a walk! We'll be taking inspiration from the many magnificent species of trees within Stratford Park.
"There will be heaps of resources and workstations from which we warmly invite you to experiment with materials and new ways of looking and seeing. Branch Line is ideal for all ages and abilities and provides a brilliant, free afternoon out for families and friends."
The event is free to attend but donations are very welcome.
