Country music fans in for a treat

A musical celebration of the best country songs of all time, Country Hits Live, is coming to Cheltenham.

With its world class singers and award-winning musicians, the event at Cheltenham Town Hall on Friday, March 28, will transport audiences direct to Nashville.

Jampacked with songs from some of the biggest musical icons of all time, the show takes audiences on a journey through the history of country music, from the 50s and 60s hits of Johnny Cash, to the wide-reaching music of Dolly Parton, all the way to the country-pop songs of Shania Twain and Taylor Swift.

A show fit for cowboys and honky tonk queens everywhere, audiences will be treated to the biggest hits in country music, including 'Jolene', 'Ring of Fire', 'Islands in the Stream', 'Man I Feel Like A Woman' and 'Love Story'.

Country Hits Live is fronted by Jade Helliwell and Lars Pluto, alongside an award-winning six-piece band.

Born in West Yorkshire, Jade Helliwell has established herself as one of the UK's leading Country musicians, winning the British Country Music Association's Female Vocalist of the Year award three times. Having performed at the likes of Country2Country and The Long Road, Jade's powerful vocals will captivate audiences.

Garnering widespread acclaim whilst starring in international smash hits such as the Everly Brothers tribute show Walk Right Back, Lars Pluto encapsulates the essence of country music, his vocals transporting audiences to Nashville.

See the Town Hall website for more details and ticket information.
